Errected in the center of the city, where the communist authority has the idea to situate a monument of Lenin, this statue suppose to be symbol of our city. The crane serves the Metro construction site, and on the flag poles on the right normally we can see all EU nations flags.

Independence Day

Today is our independence day. This is the church "SS. Forty Martyrs", where 100 years ago the full independence of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire was proclaimed by the head of state - the crowned King Ferdinand, he promulgated also himself a king of an independent country.
The church is not in Sofia, it is in Bulgarian old capital Veliko Tarnovo.
