I hope in the next days to have enough time to make this pleasant selection!

The "Jablanski" house - build 1907, architect Gruenanger. Mr. Jablanski was major of Sofia in the end of 19th century, 1912-13 minister in the kings government.
The building was chinese embassy during the socialist times and after the restitution from 1991 has several owners. But you see without the will to ceep it in a good condition. It is a cultural heritage and can't be demolished, but location is excellent, plot is very expensive. And the public is suspicious that somebody has a great interest of its self-ruination.
Epiphany

Epiphany is one of the greatest Christian feasts. The day marks the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River by St. John the Baptist.
Today the Bulgarian Orthodox church consecrates troops and their flags. Traditionally, on this day a cross is consecrated and thrown into a river or artificial lake. The one who manages to take the cross out of the water will have a healthy and successful year. http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=89094

It was a strong day for me - starting for a buisness trip very early in the morning, and after a hard, exhausting discussions, and 3 flys behind - waiting for the last fly coming home.
