The exhibition "the dimension of surface - communications design in Germany" was quite interesting, but unfortunately without visitors. This is the first exhibition from the program of Sofia Design Week 2010.

Today, the first day of the New 2010 Year I want to be positive and to show you the change of one very nice house, cultural heritage. It was for a long time in very bad condition. It's rehabilitation is still not completely finished, but the change is visible.

This is a typical example of a residential block from our socialist heritage. In the last years becomes very fashionable to make additional heat insulation and balcony glazing. This blocks are very big, the apartments are private ownership, and it is impossible to organize all owners for a whole rehabilitation. And the result of this individual activity in the frame of one "community" is very funny.Actually now are some EU-financed rehabilitation programmes for this prefabricated residential complexes and hopefully this funny slice-outlook will be changed soon.
